Application process

1. Application

Please apply online via our job portal.

Note: With the exception of internships, unsolicited applications will not be considered.

Haven't found the right position? Set up a job alert. You'll be informed of any suitable positions immediately.

2. Reviewing applications and pre-selection

Upon receiving your application we review your documentation. If your motivation, qualifications and experience match the job profile, you’re already a step closer.

3. Video interview

Our first meeting takes place in a time-shift video interview. This is an online interview that you can record independent of the place and time, for example from home, the office, or a trip abroad. This saves you time and a trip to Axpo. All you need is an Internet connection and a web camera.

4. Meeting you in person

We look forward to meeting you in person for the first time. This is an opportunity to learn more about Axpo and find out more about the position. Depending on the function, you may be asked to solve a problem, or we’ll draw up a job-related personality profile with you. You may be invited to an assessment centre. A meeting with the team is also an option. In the final stage, we’ll make you a fair, competitive salary offer.

Before making our final decision we will obtain a reference from a contact provided by you.

6. Job offer

7. Start

A tour provides you with useful, valuable information that you can use later to get oriented on your own. You’ll also get to meet other new employees and start expanding your Axpo network. An individual introductory course awaits you during the first few months. This includes the Axpo College, an introductory course to the energy industry, where you will learn all the essentials about energy production, distribution, trading and sales.
