Advisory Council

The Advisory Board on Sustainability

We enter into dialogue with all our user groups. We take an active part in shaping the energy dialogue and welcome criticism.

This prompted us to set up the Advisory Board on Sustainability in 2007 which scrutinized our commitment to sustainability.

Individuals from business, NGOs, media and culture will examine our commitment to sustainability in the future.

The members are Kurt Aeschbacher (journalist), Dr. David Bosshart (CEO Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute), Prof. Dr. Ralph Eichler (Rector ETH Zurich), Prof. Dr. Ueli Mäder (Professor for Sociology, University of Basle), Dr. Gottfried Schatz (Prof. em. for Biochemistry, University of Basle, former President of the Swiss Council for Science and Technology) and Dr. Hubertine Underberg-Ruder (Chair of the Board of Directors, Underberg Switzerland).

The Advisory Board generally meets twice a year. The members of the Advisory Board undertake to make all their recommendations and assessments solely according to their conscience.
