Sustainability

Reliable, sustainable and innovative – the Axpo Group's vision is based on these values. It expresses the desire to take responsibility in our society today and in the future and to play a leading role as an energy company.

We regard sustainability as the duty to satisfy the need to be cost-efficient, ecologically sound and to exhibit a sense of social responsibility in pursuing our corporate objectives.

"Sustainability is a strategy adopted by Axpo. It has a clearly worded policy on sustainability. As far as the employees of the Axpo Group are concerned, it serves as the basis for our conduct and our decision-making. Therefore, it is of central importance that the policy of sustainability is adhered to closely throughout the entire corporate group." (Heinz Karrer, CEO Axpo Holding AG)
