Kindercity Volketswil

Since Kindercity, the children's development center, opened its doors in Volketswil, Axpo has been involved as one of the main sponsors and is fully committed to Switzerland's first "children's center of knowledge". Little visitors up to the age of 12 tackle various so-called "knowledge lanes", learning exciting things about different areas of science and society.

How is electricity made from water? How does sunlight get into a light bulb? Axpo has a special energy area in Kindercity where kids can also learn all about current and future aspects of electricity production, as well as about the various applications for energy.
