Axpo Kids & Family Day with Plusport

In addition to top-level and grassroots sports, Axpo is particularly committed towards sport for people with disabilities. Axpo has found the ideal partner in Plusport, the umbrella organization for disabled sport in Switzerland. The partnership, which has existed since 2008, focuses on arranging the Axpo Kids & Family Day, as well as Axpo sports groups with strong regional links.

The Axpo Kids & Family Day takes place within the scope of the annual Plusport day in Magglingen. The special range of games and sports offered is aimed at children with and without disabilities, as well as their families and classes. It encourages young people to be active and to meet one another with games and fun and helps to integrate children and teenagers with physical disabilities through joint sports.

With the "Goal" project, Axpo is also committed to establishing new Plusport children's and youth groups, as well as to expanding the existing range of ball sports it offers. The regional Axpo sports groups allow disabled children and teenagers to participate regularly in one particular ball sport, with the expert support of Plusport.
