The training of new recruits to Axpo's vocational training courses matters greatly to the company. Axpo Group profits are down substantially for the 2010/11 financial year (as per 30.9.2011). Operating profit (EBIT) of CHF 139 million and consolidated net profit of CHF 45 million were significantly below the figures for the previous year of CHF 538 million and CHF 409 million respectively.
