Sponsoring

As one of Switzerland's leading energy utilities, owned by the northeastern cantons of Switzerland, Axpo safeguards the reliability of the electricity supply in Switzerland. However, as a public sector corporation we also feel that we have a commitment towards the social and ecological well-being of Switzerland as a whole. We want to live up to this responsibility. Therefore, Axpo sponsors selected national and regional projects which make an important contribution towards the healthy development of society and the environment in Switzerland.

Axpo's commitments may be agreed in a wide range of different areas, i.e. sport, youth development, education and culture, environmental protection, as well as on a social or community level. Axpo's objectives and internal guidelines are taken as a basis for choosing which projects and organizations are to receive support.

Sponsorship deals with Axpo are designed as long-term partnerships in order to achieve both parties' goals and to facilitate sustained support for the development of projects and organizations.
