Sport

Axpo has been an active supporter of Swiss sport for many years. Apart from promoting the benefits of sport for people's health, Axpo also champions sport's social purpose as something that can bring people together. Sharing the experience of winning and, at times, of losing as well, respecting your opponent and setting yourself goals – these are the attributes that characterize sport. Therefore, as one of Switzerland's leading public sector energy utilities, Axpo specifically supports projects and organizations that help to maintain the spirit of fair play in sport and that make sport accessible to a broad section of the public. In addition to elite sport at national level, the Axpo Group's main focus of attention is its regional commitments in northeast Switzerland, the region where it supplies its energy.
