Axpo wants to share its knowledge on energy. We provide special experimental cases for school children to learn about wind and solar energy.

Experimental kits for school classes

Electricity can be generated from sun and wind. But how exactly does it work? With Axpo's experimental kits, teachers can now design their lessons interactively and, with over 28 experiments, bring the two renewable forms of energy closer to their students. Axpo provides the rental material for school lessons free of charge. 

Wind energy

Contains 12 basic experiments on the subject of wind energy. The experiments are suitable for teaching at the secondary school, grammar school and vocational school level, as well as for demonstration purposes. There are 5 experimental kits on wind energy including instructions for setting up the experiments, worksheets for the individual experiments and solutions.

Solar power

Contains 16 basic experiments on the topic of solar energy. The experiments are suitable for teaching at secondary school, grammar school and vocational school as well as for demonstration purposes. There are 5 experimental kits on the subject of solar energy available, including instructions for setting up the experiments, worksheets for the individual experiments and solutions.

Book the experiment kits for wind and solar energy and design your energy lessons interactively and descriptively.

The loan period is a maximum of two weeks. Please note that the experimental kits can only be picked up during opening hours:

Monday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 5.15 pm and Friday from 7.30 am to 12.00 pm.
