    4- to 6-month assignment:

    • Work on a defined project in one of our business units: Production & Grids, Trading & Sales and Group Functions

    • Get your first practical professional experience

    Axpo Machine Learning Hackathon

    What do a hackathon and the Swiss Alps have in common? Find out. It only takes time and pleasure to discover the world of energy with the help of machine learning. Next spring we'll be running our third hackathon. Take the opportunity to get a taste of what it's like with Axpo experts from all over Europe and put your skills to the test.

    What you have to offer:

    • Master's students or doctoral students in the following fields of study: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantitative Finance or Data Science.
    • Programming knowledge in Python and first experiences with machine Learning.
    • Enjoyment and interest in working in a small team to tackle challenging problems.

    What we offer:

    • A guided tour through the Limmern pumped storage power plant, an engineering masterpiece

    Due to the current situation surrounding the spread of the corona virus, Axpo has decided not to run the Hackathon for the time being. We regret not being able to hold the event at the present time, but feel compelled to do so due to developments. We are currently looking into an alternative date, but we will inform you here as soon as this is available.
