Andy Sommer (born 1975) has been active as an analyst in the energy industry since 1992 and has been evaluating global markets for Axpo since 2008. Since several years, he is leading the Fundamental Analysis & Modeling team, with which he prepares assessments of the energy markets in Europe and worldwide for internal and external clients. The team won the Energy Risk Award for "Research in European Power" in 2021 with its services. In his spare time, Andy loves to take pictures in the nature.
Eberhard Röhm-Malcotti (born 1972) has worked at Axpo since 2010 as Head EU Energy Policy. He established and manages Axpo's EU representation in Brussels. Previously, he worked for European and national energy associations in Berlin and Brussels and for ABB and PwC. He has been dedicated to the fight against climate change for two decades. In his spare time, he can often be found swimming at Lake Zurich.
Fabian Feger (born 1988) holds a PhD in economics and joined Axpo in 2019. He took over as Head of Corporate Regulatory Management in July 2023. As part of his role, he analyses regulatory developments in the domestic and foreign energy markets. He contributes his knowledge not only to Axpo but also to energy associations. He is committed to an efficient, sustainable and secure electricity supply. In his spare time, he can often be found in the mountains.
Jeanette Schranz (born 1986) has worked in various functions at Axpo since January 2017 and is now responsible for the topics of solar, wind, hydrogen and batteries as International Communications Lead Renewables and Spokesperson. Earlier, she was a communications executive in administration and a PR consultant at agencies for several years. In her free time, she enjoys working out on the Pilates mat or playing with her daughter.
Klaus Prommersberger (born 1970) has worked in various risk management functions at Axpo since 2009. As Head of Risk Management Trading Regulation, he is responsible for the implementation of regulatory requirements at all trading venues where Axpo is active. He also represents Axpo and VSE at energy associations. Before joining Axpo, he was Head of Corporate Risk Management at Stadtwerke München and Market Risk Manager at E.ON Trading. In his spare time, he is a passionate photographer and is often out and about on his bike, as well as on skis in winter.
Martin Stutz (born 1963) has worked in various functions at Axpo Communications since April 2018. Today he works in news management and as a media spokesperson. What fascinates him about the world of electricity? Everyone needs electricity, everyone has an opinion on it, but not everyone has the knowledge - a true paradise for communication! In his free time, he enjoys skiing, tennis and mountain biking.
Seraina Weinmann (born 1996) has been working at Axpo since 2020, first as an intern and then as Communications Support. She supports the Corporate Communications department in various fields, such as web publishing in the area of social media and financial reporting. Her hobbies include skiing and football.
Simina Marca (born 1986) joined Axpo in 2022 as Senior Media Spokesperson and Content Manager, supporting international communications as well as finance and trading & sales. Simina worked in the energy field for over 10 years: as a communications manager at the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG, a PR consultant in Brussels as well as at the EU institutions’ press office. Simina holds a Master’s degree in international public relations from Cardiff University and started her career at a radio station in Romania. She is passionate about sustainability and wellbeing and in her free time enjoys hiking & rock climbing, travelling and salsa dancing.
Thomas Porchet (born 1970) has been the Head of Swiss Energy Policy at Axpo since 2008. Prior to this, he oversaw a range of political dossiers for members of parliament and federal councillors. In his free time, he enjoys walking in northeastern Switzerland.
Thomas Weber (born 1976) started at Axpo as a risk manager in 2009 after completing his PhD in Finance. Since 2019, he has been working as a Senior Energy Economist, specialising in interactions between finance and the energy industry. In his free time, he can be found cycling in the Zurich Unterland region or spending time with his three children.
Stephanie Bos (born 1990) has been working as a media spokeswoman at Axpo since 2023 and is not only passionate about the world of energy for professional reasons. Her focus is on the areas of nuclear energy and grids. She previously worked at Swissgrid and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy for several years.
Stephan Weber (born 1991) has been with Axpo since 2023. The law graduate and long-time radio and TV journalist is responsible for the newsroom in the communications team, which is responsible for daily internal and external communication on Axpo channels. As a media spokesman, he is also responsible for communicating on the topics of hydrogen and large-scale battery storage and exchanging information with the respective business units. Before switching from journalism to corporate communications, he was a TV correspondent and domestic editor for SRF in Geneva and Zurich, as well as editorial director of Radio Argovia and ArgoviaToday at CH Media.
Martin Stucki (born 1982) has been Head External Communications at Axpo Group since October 2021. After studying politics and communications in Switzerland and the USA, he worked as Head of Communications for FDP.Die Liberalen, among others. His focus is on energy, innovation and political communication. He is fascinated by communicating the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition.
Lukas Schürch (born 1983) has been Head of Public Affairs at the Axpo Group since November 2021 and is responsible for representing the Group's political interests at cantonal, national and international level. Before joining Axpo, he held various positions in the administration, in the NGO sector and in Swiss politics. In his free time, he loves to roam the forests around Bern with his family and dog.
