14.08.2020 | A visit to the Axpo Football Camp in Buchs-Dällikon

Five days full of energy

Train like the pros - that's what you can do at the Axpo Football camps, which were held at 14 locations throughout Switzerland this summer despite Covid-19. And where you could meet lots of happy children's faces and committed coaches. We visited a camp in Buchs-Dällikon (ZH).

How the kids in Buchs-Dällikon trained, ran and laughed, you can see in the following video.

And also what Stefan Huber, Head of the Axpo Football Camps and former goalkeeper of the Swiss national football team, has to say about the extraordinary situation caused by the Corona pandemic - and why he is delighted that, after the forced football break in spring, so many football camps have now been held in the summer.

Sport is great fun

Axpo has been the proud partner and title sponsor of the Axpo Football Camps for eight years. The football training camps educate girls and boys aged between 5 and 16 who are enthusiastic about football and sport, at over 40 locations throughout Switzerland. The 5-day football camps, which take place during the spring, summer and autumn holidays, support the youth work of the football clubs and promote the extremely important sporting activities.

More information about the Axpo football camps can be found here.
