Solar roof in Baden

A bird's eye view of the 300 solar panels that CKW has installed at Axpo headquarters. Fabio Giddey, CKW's solar technology specialist, shows us a new perspective on the solar system.

The Axpo subsidiary CKW builds a total of around 150 solar plants with a total output of 6.3 MWp each year. One of these systems is currently being built in Baden, at Axpo's headquarters, on top of building N. Fabio Giddey manages the project and is familiar with the characteristics of the plant.

He gives us an insight into his job:

Axpo is examining all its locations to see where solar panels can be built on the roofs. In this way, the company wants to make a further contribution to the expansion of renewable energies in Switzerland.
