Axpo and HydroFleet partner on hydrogen producing and fueling stations in the US

05.06.25 – Axpo and HydroFleet, a provider of complete ecosystems for hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles, have signed an energy supply agreement, it was announced today. Under the exclusive arrangement, Axpo will serve as the energy supplier for HydroFleet’s hydrogen production and fueling stations across the US.

Under the agreement, Axpo will also supply all the energy required to support the collaboration between HydroFleet and Hyundai in establishing a hydrogen production and refueling station at the HTWO Energy Savannah site in Pooler, Georgia. The site is designed to refuel a large fleet of Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell powered trucks which will be used in the construction of the Hyundai Metaplant America, Hyundai’s first dedicated electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plant in the United States.

HydroFleet provides the complete ecosystem for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), including the development of hydrogen infrastructure and the production and supply of hydrogen to fuel them.
