Tolling
Over the past years, Axpo, following its innovative spirit, has been developing different risk management solutions for electricity producing customers. Among the different products, Tolling has proven to be the most efficient in managing the risks associated with cogeneration plants, serving as price risk coverage for all the raw materials to which the co-generator is exposed (gas, electricity, the Operation Compensation and USA).
This product ensures stable income throughout the life of the contract by means of a fixed monthly payment, regardless of the prices of the raw materials associated with its operation and the coverage ratio considered by the CNMC, thus eliminating the financial imbalances caused by the CNMC's payment method and all the market uncertainties to which these technologies are exposed.
