08.03.2019 – The Board of Directors of Axpo Holding AG has nominated Martin Keller, an entrepreneur and a member of parliament in the Canton of Aargau, as a new member of the board. The election will be held at the extraordinary General Meeting of Axpo Holding AG on 11 April 2019.

Martin Keller (54) has been nominated to succeed board member Rudolf Hug, who stepped down at the Annual General Meeting of Axpo Holding AG on 18 January 2019. Martin Keller was recommended for the post on 5 March 2019 by the Aargau Cantonal Council.

The Board of Directors believes that Martin Keller, a cantonal parliament member (SVP) from Nussbaumen, has all the qualifications necessary to contribute to Axpo’s future development. Keller has broad experience as an entrepreneur and the managing director of a successful, specialised building company. As a member of the board of directors at various companies he has also developed a significant network. Owing to his many years of public service he understands political and public administration processes. Thanks to his eleven years in the cantonal parliament and his work on the Commission for the Environment, Building, Transport, Energy and Spatial Planning he is well informed on issues relevant for Axpo.

Martin Keller will resign from his parliament mandate with immediate effect upon appointment to the Axpo Holding AG Board of Directors.
