Axpo Iberia is a voluntary market maker for natural gas futures products at MIBGAS. The market maker is a service present in most European markets to promote the liquidity of its products. The successful bidder undertakes to have a continuous and active presence in the market, inserting gas purchase and sale offers on the trading screen with a certain fixed price differential between them, so as to make the offers more attractive and competitive.
