We have received the Golden Customer Laurel 2026 (Złoty Laur Klienta 2026) after taking first place in a nationwide survey in the socially responsible brand category among energy sellers. We received as many as 38% of all votes cast in this category.
This distinction is especially meaningful to us, as we receive it in the year marking Axpo’s 25th anniversary in Poland. We see it not merely as an individual success, but as confirmation of the direction in which we are developing our business: staying close to our customers, acting responsibly towards the market, and keeping the future of the energy sector in mind.
The Customer Laurel / Consumer Laurel is a nationwide poll in which customers vote for selected brands, products and services. The result is determined by the number of votes received in each category. The award indicates which brands enjoy customers’ trust and hold a strong market position.

The Golden Customer Laurel 2026 demonstrates that responsibility in the energy sector has a very practical dimension today. For us, this means providing solutions that support business growth, strengthen energy security and address the challenges of the energy transition.
For 25 years, we have combined the international experience of the Axpo Group with a local understanding of the needs of our customers and partners. This enables us to create value that goes beyond energy sales alone.
We guarantee that 100% of energy consumption is covered by Guarantees of Origin or other certificates confirming that the energy was generated from renewable sources. These certificates originate from various markets and include Guarantees of Origin or other equivalent certificates recognised by law or international organisations. Axpo undertakes to cancel these certificates for the entire volume of energy sold to end customers.
Detailed information on the fuel mix and other primary energy sources used to generate the electricity sold by Axpo is available here.
The energy transition is now entering a new phase – one that is far more complex than it was just a few years ago. Technology integration, system flexibility and the ability to build long-term partnership models with businesses are becoming key. That is why we are implementing solutions that respond not only to our customers’ current needs, but also to the challenges we see on the horizon. We want to play an active role in shaping a modern, secure and sustainable energy system for the future.Mateusz Marczewski, Managing Director, Axpo Polska
In 2026, we celebrate 25 years of operating on the Polish market. Over this time, we have grown alongside the evolving needs of businesses and the energy market.
Today, Axpo is one of Poland’s largest independent energy retailers and one of the country’s largest independent renewable energy offtakers. We create solutions tailored to the needs of different industries – from small service companies to large industrial enterprises – supporting our customers in building efficient and sustainable business models.
Social responsibility in the energy sector starts with tangible customer support. That is why we are developing a nationwide network of Axpo Authorised Partners, who help businesses select energy solutions suited to the scale and specific nature of their operations.
Axpo currently works with 38 Authorised Partners employing more than 800 advisers. This network enables us to stay close to local businesses and provide professional support at every stage of our cooperation.
Our strength in the SME segment lies in close cooperation with our Authorised Partner network operating throughout Poland. This allows us to stay close to business customers and respond more effectively to their companies’ needs. We focus not only on modern, flexible energy solutions, but also on high-quality service, long-term cooperation and the development of advisers’ expertise at Axpo partner companies.Rafał Jagliński, SME Sales Manager, Axpo Polska
We are among Poland’s largest independent offtakers of green energy. We currently manage a renewable energy portfolio of approximately 16 TWh, purchasing electricity from every fifth wind farm and nearly every tenth photovoltaic installation in the country.
We signed some of the first PPA and cPPA agreements on the Polish market, supporting the development of renewable energy projects and enhancing their bankability. We are also developing our own projects, including large-scale photovoltaic installations, energy storage facilities and biogas plants.
In January 2026, we acquired the gas-fired combined heat and power plant in Nowa Sarzyna, expanding and diversifying our portfolio with an asset that supports the security of energy supplies in Poland.

At Axpo, social responsibility is not a standalone initiative. It is part of our everyday decision-making – from supporting the energy transition and developing renewable energy sources to building fair, lasting relationships with customers, partners and the wider market environment.
This understanding of responsibility brings together three perspectives:
