Axpo signs route-to-market contract to support cPPA between Auchan and GoldenPeaks Capital

The contract signed by Axpo will help power French multinational Auchan’s retail network in Poland, it was announced today. The agreement supports a long-term corporate power purchase agreement (cPPA) between Auchan and GoldenPeaks Capital. Under the cPPA, approximately 115 gigawatt hours (GWh) of green electricity will be supplied annually from solar farms owned by GoldenPeaks Capital, helping Auchan achieve its sustainability commitments.

Axpo and Brembo sign 10-year cPPA for the supply of green energy

Axpo Polska and the global leader in braking solutions Brembo have signed a long-term agreement to power the company’s factories in Poland, it was announced today. Under the ten-year PPA, Axpo will supply 1 TWh of green energy from its own portfolio.

Axpo enters Polish biogas market with acquisition of first asset

In its first investment in Poland, Axpo has acquired a plant in Western Pomerania which produces green energy mainly from agricultural waste, it was announced today. The company plans to develop further biogas projects in the country over the coming years, making Poland one of five European countries in which Axpo has entered the biogas market.
