In the 2020/21 financial year, the Muttsee, Limmern, Hintersand and Tierfehd power plants produced 1.59 billion kilowatt hours of electricity. This is equivalent to the average usage of over 350,000 four-person households and is less than in the previous year (1.71 billion kWh). The majority of the power came from the storage power plants (95.3%); only a small fraction was produced by the run-of-river power plants (4.7%). The annual costs borne by the partners sank by around 3.9% to CHF 177.24 million.
