With the Digital Compass, Axpo supports the evaluation of the current state of hydropower operators and identifies opportunities on how to act for the digital transformation of power plants. For the gap analysis, we use the target state that Axpo, as the largest hydropower operator in Switzerland, is aiming for itself.
Optionally, we estimate the potential benefits of the new digital way of working for the organization under study. For this purpose, we use our findings from the Hydro 4.0 pilot project in Sarganserland. In the process, 6 action areas involving 40 digital measures are assessed and evaluated.
With the Digital Compass, every hydropower operator can establish where they stand and manage their progress on the path to the digital future fact-based.
