What the PSW Limmern can do

With an output of 1000 MW, the Limmern pumped storage power plant (PSWL) is a huge battery in the Swiss Alps. In contrast to pure storage power plants, pumped storage power plants such as PSWL can not only generate peak energy. The PSWL can also convert excess electricity generated during off-peak periods into valuable peak energy.

Find out here how this works up there in the mountains with Lake Mutt, Lake Limmern and the pumped storage power plant, and what Axpo Trading in Baden has to do with it. Start the movie!
