Energy wood procurement and logistics

As the largest procurer of energy wood in Switzerland, Axpo Tegra has high level expertise in processing and logistics. We carefully coordinate wood processing and transport. As our customer, you benefit from an efficient energy wood service all year round.

We procure, process and transport

Our procurers buy the wood directly from the forest owner: Classic energy wood such as gable wood, crown material, branch material or wood from landscape conservation. The wood is processed into wood chips on site by our partners from forestry and logistics using efficient machines and then transported to Domat/Ems. The wood chips are processed into high-quality fuel chips in our drying plants there, or used in our biomass power plant for electricity and heat production.

You benefit from these advantages

  1. Acquisition of wood in different qualities
  2. Reliable buyer with a high capacity
  3. Year-round timber removal, including outside normal heating periods
  4. Timely and orderly removal of the wood
  5. Short notice removal of timber possible at any time
  6. Competent organisation of the chipping and transport chain
  7. Fast settlement using the credit note process
  8. A single point of contact for forest owners, timber sellers and foresters
  9. Maximum added value
