Process
Wood felled, especially spruce and fir wood, is processed into wood chips directly in the forest by partners from forestry and logistics and transported to Axpo Tegra in Domat/Ems. Here, high-quality cover chips are produced for the garden and wood chips for the firing of wood chip plants. With our modern belt drying systems, the wood chips are dried in an environmentally friendly way using the waste heat from the wood-fired power plant and then screened.
