At the Würenlingen interim storage facility, the waste is temporarily stored in massive steel containers weighing up to 150 tons. These also serve as transport containers.

Guided tours for groups

A guided tour of the Würenlingen interim storage facility is free of charge and lasts 2 hours. Guided tours are available for groups of eight or more. The minimum age for participation is 12 years. The maximum number of participants is 25 per guided tour.
