As a preventive measure, Axpo is renovating the Isola dam of Misoxer Kraftwerke in the Grison Alps. A 16-millimetre-wide concrete section weighing about 10 tonnes will be cut out of the wall. In this film, the Axpo expert explains how this is carried out and why the measure was necessary.
