HYDRO 2026 begins on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 19:30 with a welcome reception. The venue will be announced in due course.
The reception offers the ideal start to three days of expertise, technology and new connections. Meet international industry professionals, make initial contacts and join the hydropower community in setting the stage for the conference and exhibition.
To attend the welcome reception, registration through the organiser’s registration website is required. The following link takes you directly to the registration page, where you can add your participation as part of the ticket registration process. The organiser charges a fee of EUR 15 for this.
Our partner etahydro, part of etaeval, will present current technical topics in hydropower at two conference sessions.
On the morning of Wednesday, 14 October, the presentation in the Hydraulic Machinery session will focus on monitoring operating profiles and turbine efficiency losses within selected time ranges.
On the morning of Friday, 16 October, the Sedimentation Management session will feature a presentation on Acoustic Transit Time (ATT) flow meters in penstocks and their use in monitoring suspended sediment.
On Thursday, 15 October 2026, we invite you to join us for an opportunity to connect in person. The Swiss Pavillon Party will take place in the Swiss Pavilion from 4:30 p.m., followed by the Exhibition Networking Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m which takes place in the exhibition hall. An opportunity to deepen existing connections and meet the international hydropower community in an informal setting.
