Power Outage in Tuggen
During the night of Tuesday, July 2, 2025, there was a power outage in Tuggen, Canton Schwyz, from 12:23 a.m. to 1:18 a.m.
A local thunderstorm with strong gusts of wind in the Linthebene between Tuggen and Schübelbach tore down a 16-kilovolt wooden pole line over a length of around 200 meters. This resulted in a power outage in the municipality of Tuggen, affecting 1,300 households. Power was restored to the municipality at 1:18 a.m.
Axpo has already begun repair work.
