  • Pstryk's solutions give customers real-time insight into their energy consumption and costs, help them make better use of their own generation, and enable them to benefit from dynamic tariffs.
  • The investment is aligned with Axpo's innovation strategy and strengthens the company's commitment to developing modern energy services and supporting the transformation of the energy market in Poland.

Poland’s energy market starting to change

The energy market in Poland is entering a new phase of development. In more mature European markets, such as Portugal, Germany and the United Kingdom, new energy sales and service models are far more advanced. In Poland, while the energy market remains at an earlier stage, the importance of real-time data processing and usage, service flexibility, and solutions that combine generation, consumption and storage is growing. This is precisely the area in which Axpo wants to actively support innovation, and is why it has decided to invest in Pstryk.

Pstryk develops a modern operating model that combines the energy market with digital technologies. The company implements solutions related to dynamic tariffs, digital energy management and the integration of distributed assets such as photovoltaics, battery storage, electric vehicles and heat pumps. For customers, this means, among other things, real-time insight into energy use and costs, the ability to shift consumption to cheaper hours, better use of their own generation and greater control over their bills.

Axpo in Poland Managing Director Mateusz Marczewski said: “The energy market is experiencing one of its most interesting periods of change in years, and technology is becoming one of the key drivers of this transformation. At Axpo, our active involvement in the creation of innovative energy solutions includes investing in projects that respond to emerging market needs. So we’re particularly pleased to be supporting Pstryk, a Polish company that is addressing those needs by developing solutions that will positively affect the future of the entire sector.”

For Axpo, Poland is not only an important market for business activity, but a place where solutions relevant to the future of the energy sector are being created. The investment in Pstryk shows that local innovation can fit into broader European trends and respond to customer needs across the region.

Energy becoming increasingly digital

Today, the modern energy sector is as much about technology, data and digital services as it is about infrastructure. The future of the market will belong to solutions that combine energy expertise with technology, flexibility and a new user experience. That is why investments in companies developing such models are becoming a natural direction for the sector’s development.

Pstryk Energy Group CEO Jacek Szlendak said: “The energy market in Poland is entering a moment of real change – change that we at Pstryk are actively helping to shape. We’ve shown that customers need solutions that give them greater control over their energy consumption and costs. Our cooperation with Axpo is an important signal for us that Polish companies building modern energy solutions can attract partners who understand market trends. It also confirms that the direction we’ve chosen is strongly grounded in the long-term transformation of the sector.”

The agreement between Axpo and Pstryk concerns a minority investment, and it forms part of Axpo’s broader commitment to developing innovative solutions for the energy market. Alongside Axpo, Future Energy Ventures is participating in the funding round as lead investor, as well as Montis VC fund.
