KLL with a successful business year

16.03.23 - The shareholders of Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG (KLL) have approved the report and annual financial statements for the 2021/22 business year. KLL's power plants once again made an important contribution to security of supply in Switzerland.

The flexible production of the KLL plants Muttsee, Limmern, Hintersand and Tierfehd was in high demand in the reporting year. They produced around 1.85 billion kilowatt hours of electricity at the disposal of the partners in the 2021/22 business year. Production was thus significantly above the previous year's level. The annual costs charged to the partners rose by around 10 percent to 195.05 million Swiss francs due to the higher utilisation of the power plants.

The General Assembly decided to pay a dividend of 5.250 million Swiss francs. The board members Kaspar Becker, Andrea Bettiga, Jörg Huwyler, Viktor Lir, Michael Schärli and Hans-Peter Zehnder were confirmed in office.

Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG is a partner plant of Axpo and the Canton of Glarus. Axpo holds 85 percent of the shares and the canton of Glarus 15 percent.
